An ordinary Australian Christian woman is behind this blog.
Over the years, I have turned my hand to teaching, human resources work and writing.
Roses have always been a favourite flower of mine, and happily, with the surname of ‘Rowe’, I have been able to make a pun of it with regular news sent out in a document called ‘The Rambling Rowe’s News’. I tend to ramble, both figuratively and physically. It seemed only fitting, then, to call this website ‘Rambling Rose’, with the addendum of ‘Aussie’ since I am, after all, proudly Australian … and the domain name ‘Rambling Rose’ was already taken.
Melbourne is ‘home’ at the moment. Past homes have included the beautiful Blue Mountains (near Sydney), Lake Macquarie (near Newcastle), as well as a couple of locations in Asia. Yes, the photograph was taken at Niagara Falls, which illustrates that fact that I like to ramble about the world and am often away from home.
This rambling lifestyle is interesting and rewarding. However, my ultimate ‘home’ is heaven (2 Corinthians 5:1-10).
